CLNZ Contestable Fund Grants
9 September 2020Entries for the 2020 CLNZ Contestable Fund Grants are now open. Each year a portion of the revenue allocated to the CLNZ Cultural Fund is made available in a contestable fund.
CLNZ/NZSA Writers’ Award
28 August 2020Entries for the 2020 CLNZ/NZSA Writers' Award are now closed and the successful recipient has been announced. This $25,000 award is one of the investments made through the CLNZ Cultural Fund and is open to writers of any genre of non-fiction, including writers of education material. The award enables the successful applicant to devote time to a specific writing project.
CLNZ/NZSA Research Grants
28 August 2020Entries have now closed for the 2020 CLNZ/NZSA Research Grants 2020 and the successful recipients have been announced. These grants support New Zealand writers by providing assistance to writers who wish to undertake research for a fiction or non-fiction writing project.
Special Round of Contestable Fund Grants 2020
18 May 2020Applications are now closed for this Special Round of Contestable Fund Grants, with $120,000 available. This special fund was made available to support short-term projects that have arisen or been developed to respond to the changed environment in the New Zealand writing and publishing sector during COVID-19. The annual Contestable Fund process supports a very wide range of projects, and this Special Round will do the same.
CLNZ/PANZ Training Fund
1 February 2020The CLNZ Cultural Fund contributes to the PANZ Industry Training Fund. This training fund supports three programmes and provides development opportunities for each stage of a career in publishing.
